Xie Lantian
Xie Lantian currently lives and works in Dubai. He has participated in group exhibitions including the 14th Sharjah Biennial (2019), the 57th Venice Biennale (2017), the 11th Shanghai Biennale (2016), and the 3rd Kochi-Muziris Biennale (2016). Xie Lantian’s artistic practice is rooted in his sensitive insights into popular culture. He uses a variety of media including music, film, and performance, to explore the elusive sense of belonging among different groups wandering on the cultural margins.
