Tong Wenmin
Tong Wenmin, born in 1989. Graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2012. Now based in Chongqing. Performance art is her primary form of practice, and she is active on the international performance scene. She has shown her performance work in several countries including Poland, Hungary, Germany, Australia, Israel, Iran, Japan, New Zealand, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Macao. Her work is focused on exploring the intersection of covert perceptions and the reality of circumstance. She uses poetic action of the body to express humanity, and explores wild ways of thinking, and the meaning of modern life.
