Tian Linian, associate professor at the School of Marxism at Beijing Jiaotong University, doctor of philosophy at Beijing University, and visiting scholar at the Hong Kong Institute of Sino-Christian Studies, Humboldt University of Berlin, University of Greifswald, and the Institute for Advanced Study in Humanities and Social Sciences at Zhejiang University. He has translated ‘Philosophy & Truth: Selections from Nietzsche’s Notebooks of the Early 1870’s’, ‘The Down of Day, Studies in Nietzsche and the Classical Tradition, Nietzsche and Antiquity’, ‘Nietzsche’s View of Socrates, Friedrich Nietzsche zur Einführung’ among many other  works on Nietzsche. He also has published ‘Nietzsche’s Gift’, ‘Interpreting Nietzsche: Using Perspectivalism as a Clue’ and several other papers on Nietzsche research.
