Shen Boliang

Shen Boliang is an independent curator and writer. He holds an MA in Museum Studies from New York University. He has also taken the International Curator Course of Gwangju Biennale, and the Western Mysticism Course at the University of Amsterdam. He has published a large number of works on art and culture and received the ‘Crossing Borders’ writer’s grant by Robert Bosch Stiftung. His curatorial work focuses on the interaction between exhibitions, literature and psychological space. His recent creative curatorial projects include ‘Cold Nights’ curated at UCCA in 2017 and ‘Magic Square: Art and Literature in Mirror Image’ in the literature unit of the first Beijing Biennale in 2022. He currently lives in Shanghai and is a contributing editor of ‘Art Journal’ (Chinese Version).
