Huang Songhao
Huang Songhao, artist and curator, born in Zhengzhou, Henan in 1990, graduated from the School of Intermedia Art, China Academy of Art and currently lives and works in Shanghai. In 2019, he launched ‘Raiden INST’, focusing on the impact of contemporary technology on artistic production, and confronting the conditions of institutional practice. He also co-founded ‘Radical Space’ and participated in the planning of projects such as ‘The Nightmare of The Exhibition (Part 1)’ and ‘JIEHUO Radio’. In his own practice, he often reveals individual and collective situations through the mobilization of physical experience of the participants and setting up of game mechanisms. His works have been exhibited at The Power Station of Art, Ming Contemporary Art Museum, chi K11 Art Museum, Goethe Institute, Long March Space, and Beijing Commune.
