Zian Chen is a curator and co-editor of Heichi magazine. His collaborative curatorial projects have been featured at Taipei Ping Pong Art Station (2011-2012), The Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei (2011), Sapporo ICC (2013), Guangzhou Times Museum (2018), and Long March Project (2018-2019). His writings have been published in Bidirectional Lake: Liverpool Biennial Scenes, Stories, Settings (2016), and Arrow Factory: The Last Five Years (2020).

In April 2023, Zian Chen organized a writing workshop for ICAST, which focused on several applicable critical models of writing and editing.
